Get more out of your dryer sheets!
I like my clothes to come out of the dryer all soft and good smelling without static, so I use dryer sheets. My mom used Bounce, therefore I use Bounce. To me, that is what clean clothes are supposed to smell like! Dryer sheets are expensive, however.
Did you know that it does not take a whole dryer sheet to freshen/soften/de-static most loads of clothing? Instead of tossing an entire sheet in there, I typically remove all of the sheets from the box when I first get it. I then take my super duper shears and cut the dryer sheets in half. I then take one stack of halves and cut them one more time leaving that stack in quarters. What is left are one stack of 1/2 dryer sheets and two stacks of 1/4 dryer sheets.
I toss a 1/4 sheet in for regular loads, a 1/2 sheet for large loads, and sometimes I’ll even add a whole sheet for huge loads like sheets or comforters. Hope it works for you, because it works for me!

I just use mine twice… three times for loads that don’t need or want much extra freshening.
Good idea! I use Downy Simple Pleasures, which are even more expensive, so any money-saving tip is very welcome. I’m getting out my scissors now . . .
