Baby girl is 19 months old this month. I consider this a milestone for us both. I think that I may be starting to get some of my sanity back just in time to watch it run fleeing upon seeing the terrible twos approach.
This past week, as part of her amazing new talents, Dr. D and I noticed something just short of miraculous. She is using words to ask for what she wants!!! Previously, we had to listen to the ever present “ehhh ehhh ehhh.” While we still get more than our fair share of that glorious noise, Baby Girl can now say things like, “ehh, Nana!!” (Translation, I want a banana, Mama.)
Isn’t it amazing how the simplest of requests can make your soul glow with warmth?
I am just so excited that she can actually ask for things! My favorite example so far is, “ehh, Tih Tee.” Finally we figured out that she wanted a Cookie! I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!
