As some of you have noticed, I have a new button up on the top left side. I would like to take a few minutes to explain a little bit about this great group of bloggers and tell you what we are all about!
You know how when you regularly read a blog you start to feel a sense of kinship with the author? This is exactly what has happened to a group of us that read over at Toddler Planet.
I have been reading Whymommy’s blog over at Toddler Planet for a few months now. She is witty, insightful, and relevant. It is one of those blogs that I seek out immediately when I notice that the feed has been updated on Google Reader. Recently, Whymommy disclosed that she has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. It has been heartbreaking to read of her account so far. She is keeping her spirits up and is encouraging us to keep ours up as well. She has posted on some of the usual fare (mom stuff etc…) as well as many posts on the cancer. Check out this post titled The Diagnosis and this one Hair Today… Both are touching.
Stop on by Toddler Planet. Give her some encouraging words. Share your survivor story. Tell her I sent you.
